Project Achievements

Project activities

The project partners under the Central Kalimantan Peatland Project work hard to fight the problems regarding peatland destruction. Solutions entail both work in the field and advocacy work for improved policies.

In Kalimantan, we are restoring and protecting the peatland forest. This is done in cooperation with the local people and the local government. The Central Kalimantan Peatlands Project adopted a multi-sectoral approach, to restore and maintain the values of Central Kalimantan's peatlands.
